By the Power of Grayskull - He-Month!

Welcome to He-Month!

With thanks for the inspiration to Carrion Crow and Rantings from under the Wargames table (click for links), and apologies to both for nicking the He-Month tag, Kieron of Cheaphammer (click for link) and myself are launching into He-Month.

Each of us is tackling He-Month in a slightly different way, but safe to say there will be painted minis and there will be rules for gaming.

I started writing a rules draft for personal use last month when I had some days off, and made some good headway. That in turn spurred me to paint my Orko proxy and suffice it to say orders have been placed to fine purveyors of minis across the interwebz.

I hope to have both a rule-set and at least four more minis painted by month's end, so expect the blog to have a very Eternia-centric focus for the next few weeks. You can see a sample game card above for what I am working on.

Stay tuned to see how He-Month unfolds!

  3. Great stuff, PulpCitizen. If a certain package of mine arrives, perhaps you'll allow me to participate too?

  4. Thanks for the mention, Leon, and no need to apologise for borrowing the name. We did try and encourage orhers to join in at the time, but it didn't prove as popular back then. But it did evilve into 'Forgotten Heroes', which will be returning for a third year in June.

Really looking forward to seeing what you and Kieron produce for this and what you use as your base. There's still a few characters that I fancy doing, so you might set me off again.

    1. Thanks for the warm words Jez. :)

I am planning to do Forgotten Heroes again, so consider me signed up for that. :)

I'll probably do a post linking to some of the minis we have sourced for consideration (with a little help from our friends). :)
